Artist's statement: I have been a working artist all my adult life.
Horses have provided me with my inspiration and my main subject
matter, and my "inner photographer" has been released with the advent
of digital SLR cameras and with the opportunities for image
manipulation enabled by Photoshop. I love all aspects of this work,
both the field work gathering the photos, and the many hours spent
working with them in the computer. My new motto is "reality is only a
starting point".
All are for sale, available in various sizes and at various prices, as
detailed on my website. (Gallery opened 11/9/09)

Donna Ridgway (3)
A Native Montanan, Donna Ridgway grew up in a family that homesteaded on the Rocky Mountain Front, near Dupuyer, Montana. She has farmed and ranched most of her life.
She and her husband Robert now live in Vaughn, Montana on two acres. He is a cowboy poet and sometimes they combine their work.
Work was all important on the ranch, it left little time for art or photography, so it’s a great luxury and privilege for Donna, to have the time now, to take all the photos she wants! She's obsessed with her camera and the images it can capture. Working with horses all her life, has given Donna a natural love for these animals where a large percentage of her work is equine based.
